  • Fire Specialist

    Person professionally qualified in fire engineering

    Preparation of fire safety solutions, fire simulations, and assessment of steel and timber elements for fire effects.

    Study and practice in the field of fire protection for more than 10 years. Graduated in Fire Protection from the Secondary School of Fire Protection and in F-M under the Ministry of Interior, university studies at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Czech Technical University in the Fire Safety of Buildings field and Integral Safety of Buildings.

    Currently studying for a Ph.D. degree with a focus on the wood protection of steel structures and wood burning models.

  • Scientific and academic activities

    Research in the field of timber structures, development of pyrolysis by advanced models and protection of steel structures by timber cladding.

    Teaching statics of timber structures and statics of steel, steel-concrete and timber structures under fire. Consultations on fire safety in buildings are available.

We have a book out!

Fire resistance of timber structures

In August 2022, the long-awaited book will finally be published!  The book rebuilds the field of timber structures exposed to fire in a readable approach. It is not a strict inventory of standards, but also presents findings from already completed research.
It is an ideal tool to deepen the field.
